Q: What's the catch? A: There is no catch. The only requirement is the purchasing of a kit and the yearly renewal fee of $30. Here is a link to an explanation of the startup options. Q: Am I locked into the renewal for 5 years or something? A: No. It's a year-to-year renewal, just like a wholesale club membership. Q: Yea, sure. How much do I have to buy each month, each quarter or each year? (this is where many direct selling companies become trouble...some have quotas and buying requirements) A: There are no buying requirements and no quotas. Q: What about parties? A: This is entirely up to you. Good Tastings events (not just parties) are a useful tool that some Associates use, but no one has to do them. Q: Do I have to stock inventory? A: No. Q: Do I have to sponsor people? A: No. Q: Do I have to order every month? A: No. Q: What if I join just for the discount and then I decide I want to build a business? A: The necessary materials to do that are in your startup kit. In addition, the Summit Group site is an enormous resource of information and ideas, however you want to do it. Here is a link to the Summit Group Advantage. Q: Is this some sort of Pyramid Scheme? A: NO. In the typical corporate pyramid, those at the top, the President and Vice-Presidents and CEO, get the most. In the direct sales industry, the actual salesperson, in this case the Watkins Associate, gets the most profit from their own sales - as much as a third of the selling price. Nobody else gets as much from YOUR work as YOU do. And the more you sell, the more you make. Q: What is the actual detailed compensation plan. A: Here is a link to a summary.
