What is:

• French-milled: A term used in the soap-making industry to describe a process by which a soap’s ingredients are blended. A soap mill completely homogenizes all of the ingredients for a smoother texture and opaque appearance. The milling process drives out much of the water, resulting in a hard, long-lasting bar. Other techniques have not been able to duplicate the results of this classic process; hence, the term “French-milled” has always been recognized as the mark of quality.
