This program allows your Organization to increase your revenues by encouraging supporters to purchase Watkins products either online or directly from you. Watkins donates your initial supplies and start-up costs AND provides you with a FREE website. Depending on volume, your Organization receives between 17.5% and 31.5% of all purchases. Here’s How It Works Your Organization, as an organization, becomes a special Watkins Nonprofit Associate, with initial Watkins materials and on-going training available FREE of charge. In addition, Watkins provides a FREE website as an entry point to the Watkins online catalog. This website usually requires a setup cost and monthly fee. Under this special fundraising program, there is NO COST to your Organization for this. Your Organization publicizes and promotes individual direct ordering from Watkins as one of your fundraising activities. Your Organization receives from 17.5% to 31.5% on all purchases, depending on volume. Most importantly, both year-round and seasonal visitors and friends download promotional materials from your website, spread the word, become year-round contributors, and broaden your base of contributing support. In addition to direct contributions, it may be unclear to many friends of your Organization how they can support you financially. This Watkins program provides them with a ready answer – order their own supplies and gifts for which you will receive credit. This is a way for you to generate continuing, residual revenue. In order for this program to be worthwhile, you need to make a concerted effort to consistently publicize and promote Watkins over an extended period of time. Again, this effort provides a way for your supporters to help your Organization even if they cannot afford monetary contributions. Our experience has shown that your traditional fundraising campaigns are the most effective starting point to take advantage of this partnering program with Watkins. I will act as your Watkins sponsor, integrating this program with your existing fundraising efforts. Your Organization may order selected products directly from Watkins at a 25% discount and resell them at full price at your special events or gift shop. You may also purchase an additional supply of catalogs and develop and print flyers to further publicize this partnership.
